Hon. Rashid Hadid Rashid was appointed as the Regional Commissioner of South Pemba on November 19, 2024. Under his leadership, the South Pemba Region Government is committed to providing efficient and effective services to the people of South Pemba.

Mr. Amour Hamad Saleh serves as the Region Administrative Secretary for South Pemba Region. As the RAS, he is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the region, coordinating department activities, and ensuring policy implementation.
